I’m Tom Ullrich – full name Thomas W. Ullrich – a strategic communications consultant, lecturer, and author. I also share my knowledge and experience through coaching, sparring sessions, and in-house seminars for executives, companies, and organizations.

Career Path

My professional journey began with studies in chemistry and my first experiences in the chemical industry. However, I soon realized that my true passion lies not in the laboratory, but in working with people — which led me to transition into consulting.

Alongside my work, I expanded my consulting expertise with further studies in marketing communications and business administration, building a strong combination of hands-on experience and academically grounded methodology.

Today, I serve as Director Consulting / Strategic Advisor at ➚komm.passion GmbH | TEAM FARNER, one of Germany’s leading corporate communications agencies.

For over two decades, I have supported crisis teams, senior executives, and C-level leaders – from mid-sized companies to international DAX-listed corporations.

My clients include employed executives, founder-CEOs, and second-generation successors navigating the complexities of business succession. I frequently work on-site, often in an interim executive or transitional management role.

My core focus: managing acute crisis situations, guiding change processes, and navigating complex communication challenges. My work has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Health Angel Award and the Telly Awards.
